ROUTE
AOYAMA ITCHOME
Our meeting location is near Aoyama-Itchome station in central Tokyo. This is the starting point and finishing point for all our tours.
HAKONE TURNPIKE
From Tokyo, we will head south towards the famous Hakone Turnpike, a private mountain road. On the way we will take a quick coffee break at Ebina SA. The drive to the Hakone Turnpike is roughly 2 hours.
ANEST IWATA SKYLOUNGE
Second stop is Anest Iwata Skylounge, the top of the Hakone Turnpike. After a 20 minute drive up the winding mountain roads, here we can take another quick coffee break and take in the stunning views of Mt. Fuji, Lake Ashi and the surrounding nature. This is the first stop for greatphotos!
MT. MIKUNI
From the Hakone Turnpike, we will drive up to the top of a second private road, the Ashinoko Skyline. On a clear day, this is the best location to line up your car and get breathtaking photos with Mt. Fuji right behind it.
LAKE ASHI, HAKONE SHRINE
From Mt. Mikuni, we will devour up the rest of Ashinoko Skyline and head down to Lake Ashi. Here we will do a brief tour of Hakone-jinja, a shrine that dates back to the year 757, as well as walk the banks of Lake Ashi.
AOYAMA ITCHOME
The tour finishes back at the starting point in Aoyama Itchome. The drive back to the finish is roughly 2 hours.
