Drift Experience
Feel the rush, control the chaos — where precision meets power on every turn. Tokyo Extreme Drive is offering an experience that will plunge you deep into the world of drifting. This one-day activity is supported by our expert staff members who will help you master the basics of drifting a car. No international driving permit required!
WHAT IS DRIFTING?
- Drifting is a driving technique and motorsport where the driver intentionally oversteers, causing the vehicle to lose traction in the rear wheels while maintaining control of the car. The goal is to keep the car in a controlled slide through corners, with the driver managing the car's angle and speed.
I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DRIFT?
- No problem! This experience is for beginners who are curious about drifting. We can teach you the basics, starting from how to initiate a drift and how to control and keep a drift. We have had customers who could not drive manual to progressing to doing figure eights by the end of the day.
WHERE DOES THE EXPERIENCE TAKE PLACE?
- We will rent out a drift paddock at a race track in Chiba called Minami Chiba Circuit. The track is about 1.5 hour drive from central Tokyo and we offer free transportation to and from the track. Alternatively you can meet us at the track if you have your own car, or you can rent one of our cars and drive to the track yourself!
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE EXPERIENCE?
- Full day experience (9AM - 4PM excluding commute to and from the track)
- Free transportation to and from the track from central Tokyo
- One drift car (Nissan Silvia S15)
- Enough tires and gas for the day
- One-on-one drift coaching
- Thrilling passenger rides with experienced drift drivers
- Amateur photography/videography
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?
- Book at least one month in advance
- Full payment up front required at time of booking (no deposits)
- To join this experience you must be at least 18 years old.
- We also require you to have a drivers license in your home country so we know you can at least drive a car.
- As this experience does not take place on public roads, you do not need to have the license with you (a photo/scan during booking is fine) and you do not need to have an international driving permit.

The Nissan Silvia S15 is a legendary Japanese sports car that was produced from 1999 to 2002. It’s the fifth and final iteration of the Silvia series, which became iconic due to its combination of performance, handling, and styling. The S15 is particularly famous for its strong aftermarket support, drift culture association, and popularity in motorsports like D1 Grand Prix.
